    Akai MPK261

    The feel is really great, which is why I went with this keyboard. It's my first MIDI controller, so I can't compare it against any others, but I have been playing piano my whole life, so feel is paramount. This gets the job done. It has tons of knobs and sliders and being able to configure them to whatever you want is amazing. I haven't gotten there yet as it will take some research to wrap my brain around how it all works, but I can see the potential and I'm sure it will perform. Speaking of perform, I wish it had a 1/4" output, and I'm also having a little bit of a hard time finding a suitable power supply (thus 4 stars). I think it should come with a power supply. Their website doesnt really offer one that's specific to this keyboard. There are products out there that can work, ...

    A true workhorse MIDI controller!!

    I love it and have recommended it to many others. I must be responsible for selling at least a dozen of these things. A true workhorse midi controller. I use the pads, the transport, the faders, the encoders, the 5 pin in and outs daily for 3 years. Very solid build, and looks so cool. Now, a piano player will say it doesn't feel like a piano, and that's true--it is intentionally "synth action" like nearly ALL midi controllers and synthesizers. Faster and more sensitive than piano keys. Pads are the best of any midi controller on the market. If you finger drum or use MPC's, you already know these--just the best. I have made controller presets for several of my analog synths and it's awesome. (Already cpomes with 15 DAW presets like logic, cubase, ableton, studio one, etc etc) Everything ...

    Great keyboard

    I bought this for my daughter. She just graduated high school and wanted something she could take to college to continue her piano playing. Excellent product, not only for playing, but also for composing. 61 keys, for her, is the sweet spot; large enough to play what she wants but not so large that the portability factor is gone. Highly recommend!!
