About this product
Product Information
This is an Elizabethan WhoDunnit. The North Wales Police Fraud Squad is given the task of finding the true identity of the Immortal Bard and also what happened to all the manuscripts. The three policemen have but two English Literature GCE's between them and are told to treat the case as they would any other police investigation. They find that the Immortal Bard was a Welshman, John Williams, one of the greatest scholars of his century, who was made Archbishop of York and who was also a great favourite of King James. The police were also confident that they had found out what had happened to the manuscripts - they had found written evidence in the library of Westminster Abbey. Before it was a book, factual story it was a TV film called The Swan of Ogwen .
