Life Changing
I first saw this movie in 1981 or 1982 I think. 13 years old and for me this film solidified the fact that I was indeed a little punk. It was a pivotal moment in my life. The fast pace, the anger, and frustration in the music spoke to my soul. Listening to these bands now, I realize that many of them were very smart, paying attention to what was going on in the world, and pissed off about. Others were story tellers. They weren’t all just screaming and yelling. Many of the songs still resonate today. I’m so glad I was able to get a copy of it. Some old friends, the ones still alive, and me are now spread out, but are planning to get together and watch Decline again. A reminder of our roots, of what helped shape our lives, and that no matter where our paths have led us today, we are still a ... This movie changed my life when I first got my hands on an old VHS bootleg 26 years ago. It’s just as awesome as I remember. Glad it got put out officially and I got my hands on it. Good stuff!!
