      Ive been using them since 1980s

      They work fantastic, simple to set up. They work with clock timer same brand so you can have lights turn on and off when your not home.

      X-10

      this is a replacement for one that was about 15 years old. We use it to turn on two lamps, one at each end of the couch. You cannot use the same code for one of these as you are using for another x-10 module. We have been using x-10 for 20 years and love it.

      neither one of these

      Niether one of these units would power on or off a lamp. Other modules alresdy owned work just fine when interchanged to the same lamp and controller. If i could give "no stars" i would.
