I served in the 3/7th CAV, MANNHEIM Sanhofen, GERMANY IN THE 1980s for 3 years. I know Gen Custer and his brother were both killed at the Little Bighorn. Almost all 2,000 soldiers were killed, five columns of men. But, they don't tell the full story, the remaining of the 7th Cavalry were rescued by the 9th and 10th Cav, whom forced marched all day and all night to rescue the 7th Cav from total disaster.
