Green Lantern Reborn.
The story is a must read for any fan of the Green Lantern and DC Universe. You get the true return of “Earth’s first Green Lantern” Hal Jordan. And the rebirth of the Green Lantern Corps. As well. Johns’s writing is well done and with this story you get the sense this was a work of nostalgia for what had happened in the “old days”, a love for happened since, and a look at what will happen from here. Van Sciver’s pencil are consistently good throughout this book, and feature some of his more beautiful artwork, a good example would be the page of Kyle Rayner Green Lantern as he’s crouched down before the coffin of Hal Jordan as Paralax(or is it?). Just great work throughout. This would begin Geoff Johns’s run on Green Lantern, which would start in 2004 with this story, go into DC ...
