    Great for My Dopp Travel Kit

    Gillette Pure shaving cream is inexpensive and perfect for travel. It's easy to face lather with a brush and the lather is creamy and slick. My only negative is the fragrance. There is a slightly medicinal scent that could be improved. Nevertheless, I would purchase this shaving cream again.

    Odd off putting after-smell...

    The cream makes a nice lather, and a little goes a long way, however, it leaves an after-scent that I dislike very much. Almost like a medicinal/chemical aroma. This product in the can version lacked the after-smell. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued, from what I read.

    Best shave cream out there; hope Gillette doesn’t discontinue it

    I’ve heard Gillette is discontinuing this product. Sad: it’s far and away the best lather shave cream I’ve ever used. If Gillette gave it more colorful packaging—perhaps reprising one of its vintage designs—Pure would blow Cremo and others off the shelves!
