    The 'DREAM' cast performing Les Mis. As the title implies- Simply the best!

    I bought this DVD to replace a VHS video which I loved. The cast of the 10 year anniversary concert is brilliant with Colm Wilkinson as Valjean and Philip Quast as Inspector Javert, also Jenny Galloway and Alun Armstrong as the Thenardiers & Michael Ball as Marius - absolutely perfect casting. There is nothing to dislike about this version of Les Miserables, it's simply superb. And, at the culmination there is a parade of Valjeans from all over the world who come on stage and sing. It's interesting to hear the different types of voices who have played the role of Valjean in other countries of the world. I would recommend this version to anyone who loves the music from Les Miserables.

    A memorable experience, not miserable at all

    I have never seen Les Miserables all the way through and wanted to enjoy the experience. I must say it was enthralling and the ending with the different nationalities singing in their own language is breathtaking. A great DVD which I would recommend to anyone who likes good singing and enjoyment, and seeing some of the cast in such different roles than you normally expect (Alun Armstrong) was intriguing! A product well worth the cost

    DVD was as described, brand new unopened and at a very good price.

    I purchased this as a present for my wife and she has not had the chance to try it yet. She has wanted to see Les Miserables for a long time and as it's difficult to get to London to see the show I thought that this would be a way of getting around the problem. I realise that it will never be the same as the real thing but beggars cannot be choosers.

    Can't stop watching this DVD.

    I bought the Les Miserables Dream cast edition after purchasing and watching the 25th anniversary of Les Miserables. Originally had it on video so wanted to update to DVD. I haven't seen it live but I still hold out hope that I will get to see the live show in London. I love everything about this musical. Great characters in both editions but have to say the 10th anniversary dream cast is breath taking.

    Marvelous

    I love it, I saw this performance on TV some years ago and I decided that this record is something I really must to have. The cast is simply the best! Although I think on cast in my country the actor for Denardier was better, but only him :). The music and the lyrics, I simply love it.
