    This was our favorite of the Inuyasha movies. Anime lovers can get a glimpse into Inuyasha's past and see his parents. Very good life lessons on protecting those we love.

    I highly recommend this series to any anime or manga fan. I also found it is a good way to learn the Japanese language as my dog learned the command, "Sit!" "("Osuwaru!") in Japanese from watching InuYasha with me.

    So adorable

    Out of the 3 movies that have come out so far, this is the one I like best b/c it affords more insight into who Inuyasha is. This is the only time I've ever seen Inuyasha's father in human form (granted I haven't seen the 4th movie or all of the seasons). But so far as official releases here in the US, this is the only instance we have of knowing what his father was like both as a person & physically. This movie however has absolutely nothing to do w/ the Shikon jewel nor Naraku. This is a far deviation from the plot of the whole show & merely serves as background for Inuyasha fans. It tells of Inuyasha's birth & traces the history of their swords. The whole story is about overcoming one's differences to work together to defeat a more powerful ...
