For this CD Noel deicided to let other members of the band write a lot more songs than usual. You can tell which ones they are. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but if you are a die-hard Oasis fan it might be a shock. Those songs don't really sound like 'Oasis'. But then you do have the great Noel Gallagher songs. Let There Be Love, The Importance Of Being Idol, they are great! I think that if you are someone just getting into Oais you will love it. But if you have been following Oasis since they started, you might not like it as much. It's certainly different.

  • Oasis is havin' it!!

i think it's a great l.p. for Oasis.....good songs from all the band members, not just Noel, & a great return to form. saw the 'Lord Don't slow Me Down' movie recently, then i just had to have the music! Liam is hilarious in the film, and he gives an spot-on review of the current, sad state of "alternative" music too....hahaha! fookin' brilliant!!

  • Another great album from an awesome band.

First of all, I'm a huge fan of Oasis, so I may be a little biased. While Don't Believe the Truth doesn't live up to the major successes of the bands early works like Definitely Maybe of (What's the Story) Morning Glory, this is still a great album with some awesome songs. My personal favorites were Guess God Thinks I'm Abel and Love Like a Bomb.
