Overview of Yoga
I was asked by my Dr. to take up yoga so I ordered the dvd. I did yoga for the first time today. I would recommend that you watch the dvd once before attempting the positions also they refer to the bricks, straps and pillows to use, none of which I knew about. However, after doing the dvd this morning I am not that flexible so I really did not need these items right away. I am very skeptical on whether it not yoga is for me but I did find it relaxing and wanting to do more, at a various time I caught myself doing the breathing exercises. Great DVD to introduce or reinforce knowledge of how to approach classic yoga poses. Well explained and easy to understand. The lesson is a little short, but that is my only quibble.

This is a good beginner's Yoga DVD. Beautiful scenery and if you remember that as a beginner you might not be able to do all that is show right now, it is ok to do it at your own pace. Just follow along not to the point of pain; just to your level and you will grow with this program. I'm new at it and I just like it. It is true it makes you feel good. I would say just try this. I don't think you'd be unhappy owning it.This is a good beginner's Yoga DVD.
