This kit allowed me with literally zero modification experience to add a USB C port to my device! ONE THING OTHER PEOPLE USING THIS MOD NEED TO KNOW! The ground you connect to MATTERS! if you use the outer charge pads like I did, you cannot use the inner grounds, and vice versa! See picture attached for what I mean! That said, this is an amazing kit! I had no solder experience and I managed to pick up a spare iron in my father's house and solder in this charge port, adding a new way to charge!

Excellent all-in-one kit to get USB charging on you new 3ds XL. Everything is included in the kit, just supply your own soldering iron and solder. It did take several weeks to arrive but I'm fairly sure it was USPS that caused that.
