Synopsis
Ex-comic and struggling Fair Trade importer loses nearly everything and goes wandering in search of solace, mangoes, and food for the soul.Eileen is off to Thailand, like many winters before. Then it was sun, sand and samples of souvenirs, but not now: she's broke, alone and discouraged. This trip could be her last. She bids farewell to her trading partners, producers of such products as elephant dung paper, geckos woven from recycled newspapers, patchwork fashions from surplus tsunami aid, brass jewellery from old bombshells, and millions of things from coconuts. This first-hand account show what one woman can do in a world of economic elephants. Travel journals and a sense of humour are the basis of this eccentric memoir and personal love letter to all the Thai people and ex-pats who befriended her. Best of all, she's wrong: it's not a farewell journey after all. Tsunamis, heartbreaks, and other losses can be survived: hers, theirs or anyone's.Noodle Trails contains edible insects, tough questions, sarcasm ambushes of poignancy, and an awful lot of elephant dung.

Excellent seller. Package was delayed ( by bad weather) and then misplaced at PO( placed in wrong box #) but I contacted the seller and they responded quickly and I got my item today. This seller went the extra mile and I would highly recommend them and will shop here again. I also want to say the price for this complete hard to find item was way below most of the other listings. Condition was good as stated, and although I've only watched the first disc it's quality is good. Thank you!!

Purchasing form this company can at times be frustrating due to items never arriving, very low shipping time and the inability to track the items. But I gave them another chance and purchased many maps and books over the past few months and have received all of them. Last year, it was hit and miss. All items were in the condition as described. Packaging is minimal. The only downside is extremely slow shipping. I rate them a C+. Nothing to gloat about but eventually you will get what you wanted.
