Tridon: Still the Best; Still Made in the USA
I have used these for years, both the two- and the three-prong versions. The one I just replaced had been in service for twelve years on a truck/trailer that has many signal lights, eleven per side. Honest to goodness made in the USA Tridon are getting hard to find; so, I tried one of the no-name Chinese look-alikes; it flashed the signals well enough, but the pilot light (3rd prong) stayed ON continuously. Then, a couple months later, someone listed a few of the Tridon for sale at twice the price; I immediately bought the last few that were available. It will be a very long time before I have to shop for flashers again. I cannot speak as to how they will perform with LED lights; as, after following countless trailers with LEDs that have a third or more of the bright little individual dots ... Great Flasher Devices To Update Older Vehicles
I replaced the original incandescent turn signal bulbs with LEDs in an older vehicle and purchased two of these updated turn signal flashers to replace the original turn signal and emergency flashers. The new flasher devices work as expected.
