Great series
Although the set I purchased was a used set, tbe quality of the discs are excellent, the case is a little worn but ok. I loved the series when it was on and enjoy it as much in DVD format, a nice addition to my DVD collection. If you enjoyed it when it was on you will enjoy it in this genre.

Great Series. Long Box version has terrible packaging.
It was great to see this series again. It holds up quite well. Picture quality is fine for the 80's. No subtitles. The worst, is the packaging. Discs stacked one on top of the other. Some were scratched right out of the Brand New Box. Five stars for the series. Three stars for the cheap packaging.

MacGyver - TCS They Need To Re-release Bonus Disc, soon
My Cousin and I had been anticipating the Release of The Complete Series of MacGyver for quite some time, because we automaticaly asumed the Two TV Movies (MacGyver - Lost Treasure of Atlantis & MacGyver - Trail to Doomsday) would be included. But, the Set was taken Off Paramout's Release Schedule at one point, which was disapointing. But, it was put back on the Schedule for Release on October 16th, 2007, which was awesome! I got the 39-Disc Set on Christmas of 2007 and was very pleased. Almost immedietlly after opening the set I grabbed the Bonus Disc from the Second Section of the Set and inspected it; there were minor scatches on the Never-Before-Released Disc which didn't bother me becasue I knew they were so minor my DVD Player would play the BD (Bonus Disc) flawlesly ... So, From now on I am very carful in handling the Bonus Disc, because you cannot purchase it aside from The Complete Series set. My point being: CBS/Paramount NEEDS to Re-Release the MacGyver TeleFilms Disc on its own!!! Thank You Very Much For Reading This Reveiw! Edsonsraiders!

A fun action TV show
I know MacGyver is an old television series, but it is a fun action show. I also know that it can be streamed somewhere, but there's nothing like the convenience of having the discs right there when you want to watch. Just because something is old doesn't mean it can't be entertaining. MacGyver is a timeless show that is indeed entertaining.

Mac is Back
The motto in television today is sex sells, and so it's great to be able to take a time warp to a time when good clean fun was on the table. The television shows of the 80's were simple and entertaining and Macgyver is one of the best. This show is the original inspiration behind the phrase to Macgyver something. The show follows the escapades of a "Jack of all trades, master of most", Macgyver, who uses his quick thinking, keen observation and superior knowledge of all things scientific and mechanical to get himself, and usually a damsel in distress out of some pretty tense and usually life threatening situations. Although the acting and special effects leave a little to be desired (this was produced in the 80's after all)the overall package is a very entertaining ...
