    Underrated Masterpiece

    I can't say enough about this CD. It's one of my favorites because of the arrangements and orchestrations. It's one of my favorites of Harry's, especially as the years go by and I'm seeing him go into a different direction. At some point he may come back to this type of music, we'll see.

    So laid back...

    The music here is so laid back, it's falling over - to quote a cliche from years ago. If you want fast, exciting, driving music then this is not the album for you. This is very lazy, late night jazz influenced very slow, cool sounds. I could almost say it's seduction music. Harry Connick Jr. sounds as if he's been awake for 24 hours. In fact, if you were very tired, this music could easily send you to sleep. Imagine being in a late night piano bar at 3am where the guy on the piano is ready to crash onto the floor. Yes, this is atmospheric music at its best really. Just so you know, it's cool, quality, quiet and very, very relaxed. Everyone needs an album like this in their collection - because you never know when the situation will call for such sounds. Treat yourself - and chill.

    Harry's Ballads

    This is a definite break in tradition for Harry. He slows down the pace on this CD and delivers some wonderfully soulful smokey songs. The songs permeate your soul as they waft around like a cloud of smoke. You can just sit back and close your eyes and be moved. "Learn to Love" is one of my personal favorites. It is one of the more upbeat songs on the CD. Harry's versatility and artistry really shine through on this one as he belts out the fabulous lyrics and accompanies them perfectly with his brilliant piano playing. This is a great CD!

    Very apporiate for the one on one feelings expressed

    While at work, I heard a song entitled, Let's Just Kiss by Harry Connick, Jr. I thought it was beautiful and decided to buy it. To my surprise, I fell in love with the entire CD. Such beautiful orchestra music and familiar lyrics. I now listen to this CD every day and have purchased more of Harry's music.

    Harry Connick, Jr. - To See You CD

    Slow and easy tracks. Connick wrote, arranged and orchestrated all ten songs. Excellent mood music for two glasses of wine, a fire in the fireplace, and private time with that special someone.
