About this product

Product Information

EA's arcade-style slant on the world's most popular sport pounds the pavement for more four-on-four action in FIFA Street 2. Players can get their kicks by challenging more than 320 professional stars on 20 teams or by competing against an international assortment of real-life street athletes in multiple game modes. New juggling moves and other feats of agility can be performed using the analog stick, dubbed the "trick stick," which initiates specific plays to outsmart opponents when pressed in unison with the controller's face buttons.

The trick stick is used primarily in one-on-one situations, where offense and defensive players attempt to quickly counter each other's moves. Players who successfully outwit their competition will increase the "momentum state" trick multiplier, allowing them to string together more special moves for a limited amount of time. As in the other Street titles, each time players use technique, they will charge a Gamebreaker meter that can result in an instant score or a turnover when used during a match.

FIFA Street 2 also features a number of customization options. Players can create an athlete with over 1,000 variables, from hairstyles and shoes to accessories and clothing. Teams can also be created along with home fields, to the point where players can alter pitch surface and the turf's overall appearance using a special tool. Once players are satisfied with their teams and athletes, they can enter an underground street tournament or invite friends for three-player cooperative action.

  • Not that great

Fifa street 2 was actually not that great. The soundtrack for this game was well done, much better than Street 1. The game play was ok, but the computer was too good. Now i love a good hard challenge, but this game was insane. It was almost impossible to win any matches. Computer was awesome. They knew every move you would try, and they would steal the ball from your guys with ease. It was hard to score on the cpu, but it was no problem for them to punish you. Even with some of the best players on the game i still barely won, if i won at all. I managed to get pretty far in this game, after many frustrating hours of play, but i did not beat it. It seemed to me like the makers tried to make this game more challenging than the first. Let me tell you they succeded, but maybe they made it a ...

  • 100% street...

last year when fifa street came out i tried my hand at that and i must say it was really cool!!! this year when fifa street 2 was released i know it was a must have. this game is really hardcore and i enjoy kicking someone now and again. oh yeah the price on it was also a steal of a deal. i highly recommend it to everyone whose into the fifa franchise. the only thing i don't like about it is that you do have the power to change too much of the game settings (eg. amount of goals to score to win and toggle the game breaker off and on) other than this one default i LOVE it!!!!

  • Not for me

This game takes way too much effort to learn. I've played and loved every other Fifa game in the series, but this is such a change from the others, and not interesting enough, that I don't really want to learn all the "combos." It takes me back to my frustrated youth in front of "Mortal Kombat" and other games that are merely a memorized list of button combinations. Not a lot of finesse, you just have to put in a lot of time to learn combos. Borrrrrrring.

  • Not impressed

The game is not very exciting at all. Its like playing 4 on 4 in a small bedroom. There are so many combinations of buttons, triggers and so forth that you either need another controller or another hand. On a positive note, you can do some neat tricks and show off, its just difficult until youve played quite a bit. Its just more work than fun. Glad I didnt pay much for it.
