Instead of increasing difficulty by making players account for more buttons, DJ Hero begins to incorporate more scratching and crossfader movement in an attempt to foster a more authentic feel.<br><br>Developer FreeStyleGames worked closely with world-renowned artists DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip, DJ AM, and Cut Chemist to create a realistic experience, and all four DJs contributed original mixes and mash-ups. DJ Hero also features DJ Jazzy Jeff and Grandmaster Flash as playable characters, but the game does not mine its track list solely from the world of hip-hop, featuring portions of more than 100 individual songs from artists such as Marvin Gaye, Beck, Nirvana, Daft Punk, and Tears for Fears. The game takes players to a variety of locations designed to mimic real-life party hotspots, and gamers looking for multiplayer action can hook up multiple controllers for competitive "DJ vs. DJ" mode, or the co-operative "DJ + DJ" and "DJ + Guitar" modes.

I am a DJ and I play this with some of my DJ buddies. We have a good time trying to keep up with the game. It is realistic with the turntable controllers and being able to duel add more fun. Sometimes we just use the freeplay option/partymix for our own small parties. Even if you are not a DJ, or want to build skills without investing in a DJ system first, this will work well for you. It's also great when you don't want to pull out your DJ system to practice. So, if you're thinking about getting one and have a Wii, get this kit. I highly recommend also getting DJ Hero original game to learn the basics on using this turntable-mixer controller. It has skills yout to get you started. This game revolutionized the face of music video games. The controller is amazing and is much more fun/easier to use than the guitar. On top of that all the music is great and you don't have to sit through any songs that would normally make you want to rip your hair out. Dj hero is a great investment if you just want to have some fun with your friends and bob your heads a little bit. Make sure you have a decent tv and some good speakers that can produce some good sound, it will for sure add another element to an already great game. enjoy.This game revolutionized the face of music video games.
