I must have misunderstood the use of the phrases "returned items" and "cosmetic issues". It usually means a returned product with a few scratches or dents in an opened box; i didn't think it meant worn out, heavily-used items with bent, broken and missing parts and ripped instructions and box.
I am not happy at all with my purchase and would like to return it.
I contacted the seller and haven't heard back in 3 business days, hence my negative review.

The case was very beautiful and classy looking. Case is not entirely dust proof if that is what you are looking for though. I have a gap on the one side but none on the other. You could do two smaller gaps but unavoidable. Also directions are a little wonky but doable, just make sure the two glass sides are the same height where the screw are. User error but had to take the glass of the one side and flip it after assembled.
