Max Lucado does a great job teaching children -- and the adults watching it with them --about how to live in God's light and love.

Great DVD for children!! Thumbs up-- way up.
I love the Lucado series because it does not leave God out of life and the lessons there are to experience. God created this earth and all of us, but Hollywood looooves to leave him out. Finally, a DVD that is fun, entertaining, and a true joy to watch with my twins. Don't get me wrong, they watch Baby Einstein and Peter Rabbit (BBC) but these Max Lucado DVDs are awesome! I have watched three thus far, and am ready to purchase more. I decided to buy the first DVD because the storyline sounded nice, cute, and not 'cheesy'. Then I realized they were based around the 'right' thing to do and the storyline included GOD. I was amazed and delighted to see that----finally! ~Lisa in IdahoI love the Lucado series because it does not leave God out of life and the lessons there are to experience. Valuable Life Lessons taught!
This video, Hermie & Friends - Flo the Lyin' Fly, is such a valuable video to add to your collection especially if you have such strong morals as to teach your children the importance of always telling the truth. This movie will totally capitivate your child's attention and will make a lasting impression on them. Adults will love hearing the voices of Don Knotts, Vicki Lawrence and Tim Conway and will love knowing that their children are learning valuable life lessons, using God's Word. Flo is Fun for the Whole Family
My son loves the Hermie videos and so do I! They bring God's message and prayer to youngsters along with wholesome entertainment that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. I think the Hermie videos are even more entertaining at the 3-year old level than Veggie Tales. Hermie seems to be a Veggie Tales for the Preschool and younger set. This particular video teaches youngsters the folly of lying and how hard it is to rebuild relationships once lying has become a habit. It also brings into focus the importance of forgiveness.My son loves the Hermie videos and so do I! They bring God's message and prayer to youngsters along with wholesome entertainment that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. Flo and the "Beetles"
This time Max Lucado teaches us the value of telling the truth. Flo convinces the other bugs she knows the Water Beetles (yes, they are a singing group of 4 with british accents). When her lie is uncovered and she really does meet the Beetles, how will she ever get anyone to believe her? The kids enjoy the story while the adults also enjoy allusions to the Beatles and the talents of Tim Conway and Vicki Lawrence from the old Carol Burnett Show, and the talent of Don Knotts thrown in as well.This time Max Lucado teaches us the value of telling the truth.
