I was impressed by how the blanket was packaged. The seller also made sure to add a note not to cut the package, since the item inside was delicate. The item shipped in a timely manner and the detailed description accurately reflected what I received. I highly recommend

  • I bought it

I was looking for a guide to memorabilia. I was expecting it to have colored photos, things in categories. Like a badge guide, knives, uniforms etc.., in color by years. It does have guides but not like I wanted or expected. Plus the index isn’t exactly easy to use for s quick reference. But the price was right, and there’s written details. But not what I was looking for.

  • Girl Scout for Life

Since our city hosts a WWII reenactment & learning about the book "How the Girl Guides Won the War", my interest in GSUSA history has grown tremendously & I've begun collecting GS memorabilia. This book has been amazing in knowing the correct decade items were from when the dealers didn't. While this book doesn't give ratings as you would find in philately (stamp collecting) & other collectible markets, its been so helpful. Even if you weren't a collector, its a wonderful trip down memory lane for those only interested in the history of GS. However, to quote GS Law, I "use resources wisely" and would NEVER pay full retail prices for this book. Too many ways to get gently used price. Furthermore, I would have greatly appreciated color pictures (only 4-6 pages in the giant book). They do ...

  • Girl Scout Collectors' Guide by Kirsch, Degenhardt

This is a wonderful book, probably the best book you can find on Girl Scouting. It is very in depth, and covers a great deal of material. I personally loved it, and it brought back memories from the Girl Scouting days of my childhood, the best days of my life. I was disappointed, however, that all the pictures and illustrations were in black and white(with the exception of a few color pictures in the middle of the book). If the pictures had only been in color, especially the badges and uniforms, this would have made the book much more enjoyable. Other than that, it is an excellent resource on the overall history of Girl Scouting.

  • Great reference book

This is a great book, but more of a library reference book. Too detailed for what I wanted
