More than 1,000 new gameplay animations have been added in an attempt to replicate the explosiveness and top-end speed of the world's best skaters, while the new A.I. ensures that players make quicker and smarter decisions. The revamped "GM Connected" mode lets up to 30 users be a general manager, coach, or player and compete in the same dynasty league for up to 25 seasons.<br><br>Gamers can also create solo leagues, play classic versus or co-op games, head online for six-on-six team play, act as a general manager, or just make strategic in-game decisions as a coach. The "Be a Pro" mode returns to let users experience the career of a single player, while "NHL Moments Live" lets them relive or rewrite pivotal moments from real NHL games. And the popular "Hockey Ultimate Team" mode returns to once again combine hockey action with the managing and collecting of player cards.

    Still better than NHL15

    From IGN: Graphics Animations are occasionally awkward, but the game itself looks exceptional. The ice pops, and the players look awesome skating around in any given team’s arena. Gameplay Emphasis on more realistic skating has changed the way the game feels, but you’ll adapt. Controlling most of the action with the analog sticks continues to make a lot of sense. 8.5 GREAT - Too much ice water 7.8

    Some great improvements make the game enjoyable.

    I really love the revamped skating styles and graphics and the presentation makes it feel like a fresh game overall However, There are some of the templates that have been carried over for years that make it feel like it just a big update, and not a brand new game. The new camera angles and fades outs that make it feel like I'm watching a game on TV is great and I have enjoyed the game very much thus far.

    Awesome game.....really fun to play.Hours spent playing this game.So fun and exciting,keeps my son and I occupied for an entire evening.We really enjoy making our own lineups.......Get this game......you won't regret it!!!!!!!
