Can't beat it for the money
For far less than other no-name brands, I really have no complaints. If I wanted to nit pick, there are a few things I could mention, but again, dollar for dollar, im not complaining. - The mute and volume don't work with an xbox one.. Prob the xbox at fault. They do work via 3.5mm jack with my android phone (I think v4.4 and up support the features), but the mute mist be held to stay muted. On a Pc though, via USB, it works great. Mute toggles on and off, and volume controls computer master volume. Also, the led lights only work with USB connection. Lenovo seems to have disowned this model. They do show it on their site, but I couldn't find the control software that it uses, and it wasn't included in my (open) box. From reviews I've read, it sounded lackluster anyway, so no big ... Even with a source that has eq, the highs are still lacking compared to the bottom end. The 7.q surround is 'simulated surround'. Even then, it's basically stereo as far as I can tell. Perhaps it would do better on pc with the software installed but I kind of doubt it. It's a 2 channel system, so it's hard to fake 7.1.. Or anything that resembles true surround sound in a room environment. All that said, they're still great for what I use them for, which is xbox gaming. The mic is clear, the sound is immersive, and theyre pretty comfortable to wear for extended periods. Build quality feels very good as well.

For gamer's?
I've Turtle Beach and all the others. This headset is just as good. No extra wires, no software to install. Simple plug and play. In game setup seems to be easier. The nice cord and retractable mic are a HUGE bonus! The carbon fiber look is awesome. As far as movies and music? My $120 Audio Technica set is in a drawer. No need for it. This Lenovo headset does it all. NOT just for gamers.
