Product Information

The international bestselling series with over 5 million copies sold in the U.S. alone They have always scared him in the past--the Rangers, with their dark cloaksand shadowy ways. The villagers believe the Rangers practice magic that makes them invisible to ordinary people. And now 15-year-old Will, always small for his age, has been chosen as a Ranger's apprentice. What he doesn't yet realize is that the Rangers are the protectors of the kingdom. Highly trained in the skills of battle and surveillance, they fight the battles before the battles reach the people. And as Will is about to learn, there is a large battle brewing. The exiled Morgarath, Lord of the Mountains of Rain and Night, is gathering his forces for an attack on the kingdom. This time, he will not be denied. . . . Here is the fantasy adventure that launched the Ranger's Apprentice series, an epic story of heroes and villains that has become an international phenomenon. Perfect for fans of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, T.H. White's The Sword in the Stone, Christopher Paolini's Eragon series, and George R. R. Martin's Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire series.

Reviews
"The last few years have seen the publication of many fantasies, but few have the appeal of this original story. Rather than creating a host of strange creatures and magical powers, Flanigan concentrates on character, offering readers a young protagonist they will care about and relationships that develop believably over time.Readers will look forward to the next adventure in The Ruins of Gorlan series." -Booklist, starred review

Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!

Rangers Apprentice is an excellent series

I am always on the look-out for a new book series that my son of whom is age 12 and is an avid reader would like. I was in a local book store one day and saw book one of the Rangers Apprentice so I picked it up and started reading it. I soon became captivated in the book myself and knew that my son would like it too so I purchased the book and gave it to my son who said he had heard of the series but hadn't read it. The next night he said he had completely read the book and wanted the entire series. I sort of knew he'd like it but wow! So I started searching around the internet for the series and ended up purchasing it here on Ebay from Ambis2009 of whom packed the books very well so I had received the set undamaged. Within 10 days my son had read all 12 books and said it's an excellent ...

  • Just one problem!

Very intriguing but, one big problem for me. The author has an excellent way of captivating young readers. Why add in curse words? Just a few but still! Kinda like saying there's just a tad of poop in that delicious batch of cookie dough. What's a little going to hurt?

  • 6th Grade reading but Amazing

Love the whole series. It's a little graphical (blood and killing) but still child friendly. Easy to get into and its an amazing ride through the series.

  • Great, clean adventure!

This is such an awesome book for young boys and girls alike! My boys have both loved the entire series. Book 1 sets the stage for Will's trek to maturity. The author draws you right into the characters so that you can not wait to experience their next adventure! Missed them when the series ended!
