    Flagship 900 series card!

    I purchased this to be able to rock out on Windows XP on all my old games. After modding an nVidia driver, all is well! It also runs great on Windows 10, since my rig is dual-boot.

    big, powerful, but runs really hot

    good amount of render power for the money, but this card gets hot and loud. It'll get the job done, but for a few more bucks you can get a hybrid that'll stay cool and quiet while under the same load.

    For 300 bucks in the current market

    300 bucks should buy a 3060. But this isn't an ideal world, and for 300 bucks i know im getting a reliable, well cooled card, evga always knocks it out of the park. Shipping was sensible, card preforms as expected and it was very clean and no big signs of wear.

    Older card that still buries many more modern competitors.

    I can’t believe how much I spent on this card in 2021 but from a performance perspective, the 980 TI is still a competitive powerhouse at least up to the 1660 generation, so until card prices come back down to normal, this high performing older card is going to keep me gaming. The card runs great and games are still running flawlessly, so I’m pretty happy.
