Eine Arbeit, f r deren Aufgabenstellung Verhaltenskodizes und damit der Begriff Ethik analysiert und verwendet wird, verleitet dazu, sich mit den grundlegenden Fragen unseres Daseins und Handelns zu besch ftigen. Der Schwerpunkt dieser Arbeit ist ein anderer. Nicht weil Existenzfragen allein die Domain der Philosophen sein sollte - im Gegenteil, Fragen der Ethik und des richtigen Verhaltens sollten uns alle t glich besch ftigen und unser Handeln begr nden. Philosophen von der Antike bis zur heutigen Zeit analysieren und benennen Verhaltenskodizes. Da gebe es "Die Tugenden des Sokrates" (ca. 430 v.Chr.), "Die vier Kardinalstugenden nach Platon"(ca. 360 v.Chr.), "Die Tugendtafel des Aristoteles"(ca. 330 v.Chr.), "Die Selbstbetrachtungen von Marc Aurel" (um 170 n. Chr.), "Der Kategorische Imperativ von Immanuel Kant" (1781), "Die Fairness-Ethik nach Erich Fromm" (1956) und "Die Existenzialistische Ethik" begr ndet von Jean-Paul Sartre (1975), um nur einige historische Theorien zu nennen. Gerade die Komplexit t des Themas ist daf r verantwortlich, dass noch heute gro e Auffassungsunterschiede bestehen, was unter Moral und Ethik zu verstehen ist. Im Gegensatz dazu erscheinen nahezu t glich Berichte ber Betrugsf lle, T uschungen oder Korruption durch und in Unternehmen in den Nachrichten. Bewunderte und gefeierte Unternehmensf hrer werden ber Nacht zu Verbrechern. Dabei ist der Mangel an ethischem Verhalten nicht nur auf Unternehmen beschr nkt auch karitative Einrichtungen, ffentliche Sektoren, ehemalige staatliche Unternehmen und Privatpersonen sind betroffen.
