    C. Jung on Masculine in both sexes, mythology, Alchemy

    This book is a selection of writings from the collected Volumes 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13 and 14 of Carl Jung, as well as from Dream Analysis, C. G. Jung: Letters (Volumes 1 and 2) and C. G. Jung Speaking. This selection actually focuses on the various aspects of masculinity in both sexes rather than mere Male psychology. In other words it is not at all a self help book addressing males issues. Practically, most of this book is not easy to read. Main themes are : The Hero, the development of masculinity, the Father, The Masculine in Women and the Feminine (Anima) in Men, and the Spirit in Fairy tales and Alchemy. A good part of these texts are from Jung’s analysis of Alchemy and Mythology. They are not easy to understand on a first – or even second - reading. A previous study of the original ...
