Konami's acclaimed soccer franchise continues with World Soccer Winning Eleven 9, which for the first time includes online support for ranked matches and tournaments against players from around the world. The development team has tweaked the controls, formations, and animations for the ninth installment, but longtime fans will focus instead on the changes to the Master League mode, where players can embark on multiple seasons with increased management options. Players can decide to build a team from the ground up or guide an existing club, including new additions Chelsea and Arsenal, in its goal to become league champion. Recruiting is a key part of the Master League mode, as athletes on each team will suffer injuries, grow older, and eventually retire. To help prevent a club from sinking in the standings, players will be able to negotiate with literally thousands of athletes to develop the next crop of superstars. Other featured modes include League Play, Cup, Training, and Memorial Match, with the latter tracking key statistics in head-to-head battles for up to 20 rivals. The PlayStation 2 version adds connectivity support for the PSP, allowing handheld owners to trade game information back and forth between the two systems.

It's a really good game, but it has some big errors. I mean some stuff that the judges call that is not entirely correct acording the rules of soccer, most of them refering to the fouls.. because sometimes after your oponent made a foul to one of your players, you still have the ball and can take advantage of it, the judges call the foul anyway and it shouldn't be like that! It's really anoying some times. It also has some troubles deciding if it should be a corner kick or a goal kick. Anyway its a really fun and exciting game. I would all the winning eleven series as the best soccer games I've ever played. It's a little bit slower then WE 8, but the players movements are more realistic. This is a great game all around especially if you are a soccer game fan, straight up soccer fan, or even if think your not a soccer fan (wait till you play this game, it'll change your mind^^). The game play is extremely smooth and easy to learn, but provides a welcome challenge to those who wish to master it. Over other soccer games I felt the overall game engine was superior, especially the ball physics. The way the game utilizes dribbling, scoring, and stealing with a seemingly loose ball that doesn't feel like it's simply glued to the player is perfect. If this fact alone doesn't thrill soccer fans, the extensive and fairly accurate roster (from original date of release) provides the ability to play your favorite lineup. I haven't had much experience with the newer versions of ... The Game for real footbul lovers.
This is an excellent realistic footbul sim. It takes actual skill and thought to score at hard difficulty levels. Dynasty is also very good. The only downfalls are the lack of some team liscensing and some of the presentation. It is still great though.

Winning 11 9th edition is great!
It is really a great game that u dont just kick the ball and find it in the goal but u have to aim where exactly u want the ball to go and the same with passes! The players have lots of tricks not in any fifa ive played!its great ,u have to try it!
