    First 2/3 excellent, last 1/3 a total waste

    If you loved "Horses", you'll love the first 6 songs on this album: they range from great to good, with none being a throwaway. The last two tracks (tracks 7 and 8), though, are over 12 minutes combined and are a complete and utter waste. Track 7 is a seemingly improvised, unstructured, experimental mess with no interesting music nor (more surprisingly) lyrics, and it's ten minutes. Track 8 just continues it for two minutes longer. So you have to look at this album as 28 or 29 minutes of good material. Is that enough? Just barely, but it's such a shame that no one told Patti that those 12 minutes were a complete and utter nothing. (The bonus tracks are pretty much a waste also).

    Timeless

    This album is underrated. I have been listening to this since it it was released. It seems to me that people just want her to rocking and screaming. This music is meaningful and soulful. The person that said the last two tracks are a wast of time just does not get it. This is not sing along background music.
