About this product

Product Information

A clever, charmingly quirky portrayal of painter Jackson Pollock - and the first in a series of picture-book biographies of contemporary artists Jackson Pollock was unlike any other painter. Instead of sitting in front of an easel with brushes, he poured paint over canvases rolled-out across the floor, moving, splashing, and making the vivid liquid run with energy and rhythm. Pollock's story is told here with wit and eccentricity, perfectly paired with black-line illustrations - and splatters galore. Fausto Gilberti brings movement, life, and whimsy to the true life story of one of the most important contemporary artists of our time. Ages 4-7

Reviews
"Fausto Gilberti has managed to bottle the wild spirit of some of the world's greatest artists in his cheekily titled biographical series comprising (to date) Jackson Pollock Splashed Paint and Wasn't Sorryand Yves Klein Painted Everything Blue and Wasn't Sorry. In each book, the Italian author and illustrator combines inky black and white with a single pop of colour (blue for Yves Klein, egg-yolk yellow for Pollock), while his bug-eyed, zany artists recall the Minions from Despicable Me but with art history degrees and sharp suits... The books may end with an example of artwork and a more traditional biography but they're not solely for art-loving children and families; they celebrate individuality and creative self-expression."--The Observer, "Fausto Gilberti has managed to bottle the wild spirit of some of the world's greatest artists in his cheekily titled biographical series comprising (to date) Jackson Pollock Splashed Paint and Wasn't Sorry and Yves Klein Painted Everything Blue and Wasn't Sorry . Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷‍♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
