Elaine Neil Orr, critically acclaimed author of Swimming Between Worlds, "A mesmerizing kaleidoscope of stories about displacement, finding home, and the kindness of strangers. Haunting and heartfelt." --Fiona Davis, national best-selling author of The Chelsea Girls"From Vienna during the Anschluss to booming post-war Columbus, Linda Kass has done her homework. Linda Kass is a masterful storyteller with a knack for taking hold of the reader's heart simply, gently, in a way that makes it easy to be swept away by her words. I highly recommend A Ritchie Boy."--Kristin Harmel, international best-selling author of The Room on Rue Amelie and The Winemaker's Wife"Historical fiction is a literary time machine. Thanks to the talent and imagination of Linda Kass, this journey back to the tragic days of World War II is both solemn and joyous - solemn because of the ghastly shadow of Nazism overtaking Europe, and joyous because of the forces of light that rose up to oppose it. These linked stories create a seamless and poignant whole, a deeply felt, richly described, and quietly moving meditation on faith, passion, sacrifice, struggle, and the everlasting power of family love." --Julia Keller, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author of Sorrow Road "How did a whole generation of the Jews who were lucky enough to escape Hitler manage to re-invent themselves in America? In A Ritchie Boy , Linda Kass lovingly explores the spirit and the process of one such transformation. A compelling story of empathy, resilience, and the power of the American Dream. "--Nina Barrett, Owner, Bookends & Beginnings, Featured in Travel + Leisure 's "20 Most-anticipated Books for Fall" "A moving and polished novel that highlights Rao's literary promise." -- Kirkus Reviews "The dazzling tale of an Indian-American woman finding her way through the labyrinth of tradition to self-awareness in the modern world. Product is 95% alike picture but a little more blurry. Controller play well but had a notice from psn that my joypad wasn't authentic and could by problematic🤷♂️ no trouble so far! Shipping was fast but no tracking and worst packaging ever.. like the box came banged up... send a question to seller never had a reply 😅.... Good product overall, excellent price, fast shipping, wrapped only on 4 sides out of 6, no tracking and never reply... 4★ product / 2★ seller ✌️

The book is in perfect condition, brand new, and is exactly as described. This item is difficult to find here, and the seller priced it very reasonably. It shipped from the UK to Canada, and unfortunately took a little longer to arrive than the seller hoped, but it was shipped less than 24 hours after I purchased. When I contacted the seller, they were very responsive and helpful. I would not hesitate to purchase from this seller again. Definitely recommend!
