Item was listed as “as is” and says it’s not working which I understand but the seller could’ve disclosed a photo or mention that the plastic on the item is cracked beyond repair. The item also could’ve been boxed as it is an old piece of plastic electronic equipment so it is more delicate and was shipped in an envelope.

Firstly, when you buy something "as-is, for parts not working", my feeling is you should understand that it's "as is, for parts not working". Secondly, when you don't talk to the seller before or after the sale is made, that's on you. Thirdly, the item was photographed - your lack of inspection is also on you. Fourthly, since you apparently prefer simply to give negatives rather than communicate, expect the same. BLOCKED

  • One of four in a series. Burgett is the best and first author of WWII US Airborne to really take you there.

  • Excellent First-Hand Account of Last Months of WW II

Great first-person account of the last months of WW II and the aftermath by Don Burgett, a veteran of the 101st Airborne Division from Camp Toccoa in Georgia through D-Day, Market-Garden, Bastogne and the Rhine River all the way to Hitler's mountain retreat in the Bavarian Alps. Don Burgett was in A Company, 1st Battalion in the same regiment (506) as the Band of Brothers (they were in 2nd Battalion). Many of the exploits and episodes in the book are similar to those of the Band of Brothers too.

  • Beyond the Rhine - Donald R. Burgett

A clear look at life in the 101st Airborne after their combat jumps, as they were engaged in various operations until the end of the war in Europe. Unvarnished, warts and all.

  • Great Book for WWII history lovers.

Great book if you are interested in WWII history and first account stories. This book is written by a WWII veteran of the US Army Airborne who fought through some of the most historic battles of the war and survived to write about it.
