Notes
Kadaver Dolls is a metal band located primarily in Venice FL, also traveling all over southwest Florida to different venues to spread the music. They formed in late 2009 when experienced guitarist Joe Westall (lead guitar) was working with bassist Jason Smith. When Westall & Smith realized their love for metal music and common grounds of playing music and wanting to create a band, the two started meeting on a regular basis. For about a year they jammed, also searching for the right members to complete the band. Westall & Smith committed themselves to searching for the right people. This was a much harder tasked than what they expected. A break finally came when Westall made contact with his old friend, Mark Carlson. Carlson immediately felt the connection and saw the devotion that this new band had. He joined the ranks behind the drums. After a few weeks of practice, Carlson brought in his friend, Andrew Meadows, to pick up the microphone. Kadaver Dolls, having such a good connection, settled on a four-piece band set up. Quickly, the group began writing music and decided to take it to the studio. In September of 2010, they entered a studio belonging to fellow musician Jason Schmidt of D. O. C. Ruckus and Team Cybergeist. Meeting up at Red Line Studios, Kadaver Dolls recorded a low budget self-titled demo. In October of 2010 Kadaver Dolls let loose and showed the people what they were about. Sharing the stage with (he'd) P. E. , Wayne Static of Static X, Mushroomhead, Periphery, Born of Osiris, Mobile Death Camp, Napalm Death, Voivod, Exhumed, Iron Reagan, Black Crown Initiate, Ringworm, Nile, Final Trigger, and Gemini Syndrome just to name a few and more great local bands over the next few years, and have built up a strong reputation. The band has since acquired their sound and wrote a slipstream of energy fueled songs. Feeling that they wanted to fill out their sound, they decided to bring in a second guitarist. In the summer of 2013, after a few failed attempts at finding a second guitarist, Jason Schwartzwalder joined the band and added a personality that was needed to help take things to the next level!! They have since been proving that they are a force to reckon with and accumulate fans and friends wherever they go. In October of 2013, Kadaver Dolls were offered a small record contract with Spread The Metal Records now known as Willpower Entertainment out of Canada and Entered REDLINE Recording studios in early 2014 once again to work With engineer Jason Schmidt. Machines Of Death is the first full length album and it is absolutely Crushing!!!!! Kadaver Dolls is a metal band created in the depths of south Florida that consists of five powerful and talented guys. Kadaver Dolls has melodic guitar driven music accompanied by strong vocals (Andrew Meadows), heavy Bass Guitar (Jason Smith), shredding guitar fusion (Joe Westall and Jason Schwartzwalder), and precision drums that pull this brutal band together (Mark Carlson). The epic purpose that this band serves is to create flowing metal music that rocks your soul. Come on out to a show or buy the album you will not be disappoint!!!!! While the CD is a copy I did not have, I'm not sure the seller understood what they were selling or sent the wrong item. Only one stock picture was available and I did not request additional photos. What I actually received was a 1994 production of a 1992 DSOM remix. The two are markedly and audibly different. Nevertheless, the CD I received is approximately worth what I paid for it.
