Product Information

Clive Barker's feature directing debut graphically depicts the tale of a man and wife who move into an old house and discover a hideous creature--the man's half-brother, who is also the woman's former lover--hiding upstairs. Having lost his earthly body to a trio of S&M demons called the Cenobites, he is brought back into existence by a drop of blood on the floor. He soon forces his former mistress to bring him human sacrifices to complete his body... but the Cenobites won't be happy about this. One of the best horror films of the 1980s, HELLRAISER is based on Barker's novel THE HELLBOUND HEART and was followed by three sequels.

    Got A Ticket To Hell?

    Filled with gore..this is the ultimate chill delivering film..This movie centers around a mystical puzzle box that when opened unleashes the horrors of the Cenobites..Angels to those who love pain and suffering, but demons to the innocents the puzzle box insnares..lead by the head Cenobite called Pinhead..these 4 Cenobites are furious when a young Woman informs them one of the victims has escaped..desperate to save her Father from the clutches of the Cenobites she makes a deal with them take back her Uncle who escaped in return they leave her Father alone, but all is not what it seems..prepare yourself for a thrill ride into the depths of hell with the Cenobites as your guides you are sure to be in for one hell of a ride..I give this film 5 out of 5 bars!!

    Very, very good scary movie (mild spoiler alert)

    I originally saw this movie when it first came out, but a few weeks after the premier. So it was that when I saw it in the cinema for an early evening showing, I was entirely alone. The movie was terrifying enough, but to be alone in a dark theatre made it even more so. The deep betrayal of Julia for Frank, then Frank's betrayal of Julia, the strange man in the pet shop, and the Cenobites made this movie a real horror fest. I had seen scary movies before this one, but never one that had really had so much passion in it (and that passion is not only of the sexual nature, but of the souls of the characters).
