      A VERY GOOD MUSICAL

      PIPPIN was one of the better musicals of the last century. I saw it live on Broadway. It seems to be forgotten today, for some reason, as there have been no revivals. The music is pretty good, but not great. The story is cute and universal. If you like B-way musicals then this is something you should add to your collection.

      Pippin CD

      I love this score! The songs are catchy, upbeat, humorous, melancholy, melodic... With the exception of a couple short lyrics, it's family friendly (and the kids don't really understand the references anyway). My 3 kids, ages 9.5, 8 and 5 (boy, boy, girl) all love the music and sing along with it in the car!

      Broadway Music at its Best!

      Bought it because I saw this show on Broadway back in 1973. Excellent cast and music and lyrics. I am really enjoying listening to this one, glad it was still available.
