About this product

Product Information

Sony's Start the Party! is a collection of whole-body mini-games that can be played alone or with a group. It is one of the first retail releases to use the PlayStation Move motion control add-on system. Players slash, swing, jab, and swat with their PlayStation Move Navigation Controllers, to trace and paint onscreen shapes, bat away at buzzing bugs, give super-fast haircuts to a bushy-headed character, smack open a piñata, pop floating soap bubbles, and perform other action challenges. More than 20 different activities are featured. Through the PlayStation Eye camera -- part of the motion-control accessory system -- the game puts images of the players in the game screen, so they can watch themselves in action.

    Family fun

Fun for family, beats board games, I wish Sony made more of these types for the move.

The game is ok. but not all the games can be played in single mode. that is bad

The game is OK but not all the games can be played in single mode. that is not good because mi daughter wants play only one game that only can be played in competition mode and she does not wants play all the others. that is a bad, all the games must be included in the single mode.

  • I fully recommend this as a family game with small

I bought this to play with the children. It was well enjoyed by the kids and fun. I liked that there were plenty of different games. Another cool thing was, you were able to see yourself in the T.V while playing. Compared to "T.V super stars, this game is MUCH better" I have both. and I feel that I've just wasted money on T.V superstars. This is a fun family game to play with your young children. So if your intending on playing this with full grown adults it might be a bit too easy and get boring fast. But I fully recommend this as a family game with small children.

  • Fun game to have a great family time. Good price. No collaborative mode.

I bought this game so my wife and I have a game to play in family with our kids. It's very fun and addictive. All games are fun, but some of the games cannot be played in single mode. I also would have like to see a "collaborative" mode so more than 1 player can play in the same screen. However, I would still recomend this game if you are expecting to have a good time playing with your family or friends.

  • Fun for 1 week or so

The game is Meh, There are only 5 mini games you can pick from, but the game has about 15-20. However you can't select those mini games. The "hidden" mini games are only accessible when you are in "party" mode. In free play mode your stuck with a mini games. It would have been much better if I could select from ALL of the mini games to free play. The little ones only new how to swing the controller which really limits what they can do. The control is accurate. Hammers only work when you use the blunt end. Rackets only work when you the net.
