A rocky start after I had to NUDGE the Seller into checking on my order after MORE than a week with NOTHING happening... But Seller communication was GOOD and the item showed up, well packaged, within the delivery window. Item was well priced, and they had a series that I STRUGGLED to find elsewhere, in NEW condition. I would recommend this seller if you can't find it elsewhere, that's the best I can give them.

  • Excellent story

I read this book many years ago and loved it. I haven’t finished it yet but it is just as good the second time around. This is probably little known history to some folks.

  • A luscious story of an Interesting time and place in US history

Everyone knows Anne Rice's Vampire chronicles and the colorful way they paint New Orleans. But Feast of All Saints goes deeper into the cultural identity and unique environment that was this region in the era of characters such as Marie LaVeau, the mix of voodoo and Christianity, and the ethnic blending of multiple cultures and people of all classes. It must have been a fascinating place and time in our history. Anne Rice really entices and seduces with her storytelling here. Highly recommended!
