Rock solid, great value, not just for wire racks.
I’m seldom impressed by low cost stuff I by online or write reviews on it. These casters both impressed me and got me to write a review. The bottom of my 10 year old Weber grill rusted out and the plastic casters where about shot. Weber wanted $24 each for original replacement casters! Instead of getting hosed over like that, I welded new steel and standard 3/8” nuts to the bottom of the grill and threaded these casters into the nuts (included a relief hole in the steel bottom so the rod could thread all the way into the nuts). For $15 total for four new locking casters, I was back grilling! These casters are rock solid! The grill weights about 300 pounds with a full LP tank and I'd guess these casters could handle much more weight than that. The hard rubber gives just enough to really ... All Wheels Lock
Bought 3 sets of these casters for my garage power equipment. Purchased others and only 2 wheels locked. With this set, better value for less money. If positioning a piece of equipment in center of floor, can lock all of the wheels while in use. This provides greater stability than the sets offering only 2 locking wheels. With a single threaded rod versus a 4 hole plate these casters can be used on all metal frames from planers, table saws and any others of similar design. And a threaded rod allows for leveling and height adjusting.Bought 3 sets of these casters for my garage power equipment. Purchased others and only 2 wheels locked. Best casters for the money!!!
The pros. These are the best quality casters you'll find for the money. The three-inch wheels are big enough for most applications. They glide as smooth as glass, and they swivel as quickly and as smoothly as you could hope for. I mounted them to a wooden platform that I mounted my emergency back-up generator to in my garage. And the casters glide nicely over the expansion joints in the cement floor. You can't go wrong with these. The cons. None. The pros. These are the best quality casters you'll find for the money. Good quality, low cost wheels for NSF wire shelving
Good quality wheels for your NSF wire shelving. I have bought over 20 sets now, for my inventory on wheels. Sometimes the insert into the shelf poles (that these screw into) break out of the poles under the weight and stress, but the wheels are always still solid.
