Notes
Double vinyl LP pressing of this newly-remastered 1996 album. Sublime is the eponymous third and final studio album by the ska punk band. The album was produced by Paul Leary and David Kahne. Sublime formed in 1988 in Long Beach, California by vocalist/guitarist Bradley Nowell, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Bud Gaugh. By the time it came to record this major label debut, Nowell had been struggling with a heroin addiction. Sublime was recorded over a period of three months in Austin, Texas. The album's musical style contains elements of punk rock, reggae, and ska, as well as dancehall, hip hop, and dub music, with tempos ranging wildly. Nowell's lyrical subject matter relates to relationships, prostitution, riots, and addiction.

Seller was very quick to respond to my questions and friendly! Would definitely buy from them in the future! The records were packaged perfectly and in the exact condition the listing described. Very happy with how everything went from start to finish (they even shipped pretty quick all things considered!).

    Good

It came in very good shape. Only damage was a little squish in the corner which is nothing. Record had pretty good sound quality as well.

    Bad Pressing - Record Skips

The pressing of the record was bad. This is my second go at this album. Returned the other one. It's visibly warped, and skips on a few songs. It's too bad. I feel any print of this album will be warped and have the same issue. Bad batch O' Records man!

  • Creased and warped

Classic album, sound quality is very good. Just received the album today. The album cover arrived creased and the vinyl is warped. Playable but warped. I have 40 year old albums that are in better condition and lay flatter on the record player.

  • Perfection.

This Album is a must own... the sound of this vinyl is flawless. This is one of those albums you just put on and let it play out no skipping needed. I highly recommend this pressing to any fan of Sublime you will not be disappointed.
