    I loved the originals! I LOVE these Remix/Remasters!

    Spectacular! Such a joy to hear The Beatles' songs remixed and remastered by Giles Martin, son of George Martin - The Beatles' original producer. Some Beatles "purists" don't care for these remix/remasters. Fair enough. Opinions, right? I grew up listening to the Beatles in the '60s. I bought and loved the original cd releases from the '80s, loved the 2009 remasters - and, I love these new remix/remasters beginning with the Sgt. Peppers 50th Anniversary Edition from 2017. This 1962 - 1966 "greatest hits" offering provides us with a new take on the early Beatles' (limited) stereo imaging by employing AI to dissect their original two and four track tapes - isolate individual instruments and voices - and then remix those individual items into a fresh soundscape of tried-and-true hits that ...

    Interesting, but a little off.

    These remixes don't sound as good as reviews led me to believe. Examination of the music files in Audacity reveals lots of hard compression and/or clipping, especially on the oldest tracks. The tracks are sort of like expecting a nice drink of Coke and discovering that you have a glass of Coke-new formula.

    Mixed Remixes - Many Hits - A few Misses

    Just Finished listening to the "Red" album - with the 2023 remixes, which were much anticipated. I'm still sorting through my impressions - the majority of which, are positive. Without giving away my age LOL!!, I was 13 when the Fabs hit the US...I have listened to all of these wonderful tracks through most of my life...so, there are nuisances in the music and subtilties that I expect and enjoy. For the most part that experience has been, thankfully, preserved. Overall the remixing is brilliant..with only a few tracks having issues (To My Ears, and on my system). "She Loves You" and the 4 tracks from "Help" (BTW - My favorite Beatle LP) were somewhat disappointing..."Ticket To Ride" sounds "Muddy" , "Help" has lost some Sparkle and ""Hide Your Love Away" has John's voice too up front - ...

    I am the Walrus is very disappointing

    It all really sounds great, However, they absolutely destroyed I am the Walrus, I'm giving this CD four stars. It would have been five, but this Walrus debacle leaves me cold.
