    Room Filling Sound

    This is my second time buying this receiver. When calibration is finished you feel like you're there. Whether a game or concert or your favorite movie you're brought right in to the middle of the action. I find myself turning around to find audience members behind me or flinching from the cries of the soldiers and orcs during battle. Add a powerful subwoofer and your system is complete.

    Good value but not terribly powerful

    It is a good value on sale however it is nothing like more expensive home theater receivers, it is fairly basic but does a decent job and has ok features for this price point. My biggest complaint is that it is rated at 145 watts per channel, if it somehow manages to produce that much it would have to be its absolute peak instantaneous power for maybe a nanosecond not RMS which is the only wattage rating that has any meaning. Even though it is underpowered I would recommend this as long as you get it for a good price (much less than retail) and are not trying to drive speakers very hard.

    Easy to use

    Instructions are very clear as to setup and use - I have 2 HDMI inputs and i output to a Optoma (4K) Projector (ceiling mounted). The inputs are from either a DVD/BluRay player or a STB connected to cable receiving free/channels. Sound output is to a 5.1 speaker configuration.

    A great receiver!

    This receiver is great! It's better than the one had prior. A JVC that I'd had for 20 years that was awesome but finally died. It sounds great, manages hdmi inputs and has bluetooth. I would definitely recommend it.

    Sound is great,ample power & inputs and outputs.Operation manual so so.

    Sound quality is good,ample power .Figuring out setup w/o monitor hooked up is almost impossible.Plenty of inputs & outputs for components. I would have gave it 5 stars if the manual was more detailed in how to setup w/o monitor hooked up.
