    What Mysterious Evil Lurks in Such a Pleasant Small Town?

    The first book in this cozy series was delightful, but this 2nd book less so. Enjoyable, but less compelling, the characters from the first book make another appearance. Unfortunately, aging Noodles is not up to his first knock-out, comedic performance. There is plenty of suspense, especially for a small Western town- murder complications, decadent ice cream treats, friendships, and understated romance to make this a worthy cozy. I will look forward to the next addition to this series. Suitable for a wide readership.
