    Land of Bears and Honey by Daniel Lay, Joe C. Truett

    The Land of Bears and Honey offers insight into the natural resources of the early East Texas region. This interested me most in this book. However, Joe's wistful thinking that time should have stood still in the natural world from the time of the earliest pioneer until the present is a bit unrealistic. Overall, I found the book to be good reading.
