    Black Cross

    Excellent WWII story with a very interesting premise about the possibility that the Germans might have considered using nerve gas during battles particularly toward the end of the war. The characters were good although could have been fleshed out a bit more which would have made it (imho) a deeper novel. For example - Mac and Anna were pretty flat. Rachel was more real and Stern was a terrific character, and the one who was best depicted. Plot was really good and the history seemed pretty accurate. Definitely worth the time and a very good choice for those who like adventure novels set during the war.

    Great book during World war II era

    I decided to buy it because Greg Iles is one of my favorite authors. Anyone who likes reading about history in the World war II era will enjoy this book.
