Product Information

This Lifetime TV movie is a touching tale that is based around a single mom fighting to get a modicum of normalcy back into her life. Dawn Anna (Debra Winger) is the mom in question, who is delighted to start a new relationship and job after some rocky times spent getting over past misfortunes. But when she is diagnosed with a debilitating illness, Dawn has to undergo brain surgery to save her life. The rehabilitation process proves to be taxing, with the beleaguered mother having to learn basic motor functions all over again. But as Dawn gradually returns to life, further troubles lay in store for her, leading to a gripping conclusion to this evocative drama.

    Absolutely a have to watch movie. Fantastic.

    This is an absolutely wonderful movie based on a true story. Debra Winger is amazing as the single mother, Dawn Anna, who was a teacher raising four children. She is diagnosed with a brain tumor which she battles fiercely and triumphs. This movie premiered on Lifetime Channel. Everyone should watch this movie. It is definitely one of my favorites.

    I loved this DVD. It was an accurate and inspiring portrayal of the life and struggles of the woman for whom it was entitled. It is full of happy moments, along with the tough times. It so happens that Dawn Anna is a cousin to me! My brother in Georgia let me watch his copy of the film that he'd made from its television version. I wanted my own so when I returned from his house where I vacationed, I bought two copies - 1 for me and another for our little sister! I would have purchased the movie even if I had NOT been related to Dawn. It was a deeply-moving film. I've already watched it many times and will pull it out when I need to get charged up again!

    wonderful life changing movie that can give ppl knowledge of the disease

    I bought this movie for a friend. She has all the same symptoms and has been to many drs with nno explanation for these problems, so I thought since there was eventually a real diagnosis maybe she could tell a dr about it. Thanks for the movie, it may make her life a better place. We'll see...... Thanks again !!!
