    This book has many old patterns and old items that I haven't seen before. It even has a price guide. The only way it could be better was if the item

    were in color. Still a very valuable resource!

    Wonderful book.

    I think I would prefer color pictures of the glassware. This book list all items in b/w only. Good book otherwise! I decided to buy this book to help a friend with her collection of Fostoria Glassware that she inherited.

    Fostoria Glassware, 1887-1982 by Frances Bones (1999)

    I hated the black and white pictures in the book. Many of them are so dark that you really have a hard time making out the pattern. It appeared that a lot of the pictures were scanned and were dark to begin with which made them even darker.
