    Lightweight battery eater

    This Insignia camera is suitable for a kid as a great first camera, to play with the buttons and that's about it. It produces an awful amount of noise, even in the daytime. The pictures come out blurry for the most part, and it goes through the batteries like it's water. The 2.5" LCD no doubt plays a role in it, BUT the camera eats batteries even when turned off. The user guide recommends to take them out when the camera is not in use. So you need some storage for said batteries when camera is turned off. What Insignia was thinking is anyone's guess, but clearly not straight. DON'T BUY IT, it's a waste of money.

    Nice reliable very compact camera

    I bought the camera re-furbished and am very satisfied with it. It came with all the accessories indicated, in original packaging. I was going on a cruise the following week and needed a back-up camera for my wife. I had checked e-bay for digital cameras and only considered those ending within the following half hour. This one could be had in five minutes and I bid accordingly to win (which I did). This Insignia fit the bill perfectly. A Best Buy house brand, I would rate this "Insignia" model comparable to other name brands. It has plenty of features and takes very good photos (I only shoot at the highest resolution setting). It is powered by two AA batteries which can get used up fairly quickly if using the flash frequently. It does take a few seconds between photos to process the ...

    Pretty good camera for what I paid for it on Ebay.

    We bought this a for a girl with Down Syndrome. We wanted something simple and inexpensive for her to use. The camera works way better than we expected. For such as inexpensive camera, it has many nice features such as image stabilizer, scene modes, flash etc.. It also records 640 x 480 movies with sound. We only used the camera with alkaline batteries so far -- and they seem to hold up pretty well (course you'd want to use NIMH rechargeable batteries instead). For the price, I only have one complaint about the camera -- In film mode outdoors, glare from the sun or other bright objects can easily cause streaks to appear in the movie. If you keep the sun or bright objects more behind you, it's not a problem Charles Schmidt

    good camera

    This camera works fine for us to use taking pics on a everyday basis. It's features are excelent and it is very easy to use for my 6 year old.the camera is small enough to cary in pocket and works like the eller said it does. very good purchase.
