    THE SONY STR DE 898/B 7.1 CHANNEL RECEIVER HAS, AS PROMISED, GREAT SOUND QUALITY, WITH MANY USEFUL FEATURES TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE TO USER'S TASTE. THE SPECIAL ADJUSTMENTS TO SPEAKER PLACEMENT ARE SUPER AND QUITE OUT OF THIS WORLD. I BOUGHT THIS RECEIVER BECAUSE I HAVE ACCUMULATED SEVERAL TERRIFIC SPEAKERS, AND A CENTER CHANNEL UNIT (ALL FROM EBAY, OF COURSE), PLUS A SUPER BASS WOOFER WHICH I HAVE RECENTLY COMPLETED, AND I NEEDED TO HOOK ALL OF THEM TO AN AM/FM RECEIVER OF GREAT QUALITY.     It OK

    The only thing I would like to gotten was a book on how to REPROGRAM the receiver in ENGLISH SO I COULD PROGRAM a CD PLAYER AND A TAPE PLAYER TO THE RECIVER I got BOOK WITH IT I would like to have a book so I can be able to REPROGRAM the RECIVER with them.

    A great stereo surround sound receiver!!!!!!!

    This is a great stereo receiver! The sound comes out good through all of our speakers. We bought it to replace a receiver that wasn't working anymore. The product is great but the only downfall is the instruction booklet for tuning in all the speakers. The directions could be clearer in the manual. It would help if there was a knob for each speaker instead of working it through the remote for adjusting the volume of each speaker.

    THIS IS A GREAT RECIEVER THE ONLY ISSUE IS THE SETTING YOU HAVE TO READ THE MANUAL IT'S NOT THAT SIMPLE BUT ONCE YOUI GET THE CORRECT SETTING SHE IS A MONSTER
