This is a classic comedy from my childhood! I always loved Nick Note, and Bette Midler! This movie is just a great feel good classic comedy from the great 80's! If you like Nick Note, Bette Midler and/or Richard Dreyfus this is a GREAT choice! 2 Thumbs UP!!!

I saw this movie along time ago. I’ve always wanted to add this to my DVD Library. The movie is a very funny so if you’re looking for comedy, you’re going to get it in this one. All-star cast, can’t go wrong here! It might be an oldie but it’s a goody. transaction went smoothly, take a little while to get here but I would definitely buy again.

loved Nick Nolte's character and his interaction with each character in Richard Dreyfuss' family. Bought it because each time I see the movie, it never fails to make me laugh. I'm so glad it's on DVD. One of my most viewed and favorite movie. Ir ia cult favorite in my family. I would recommend it to anyone over 18 yrs of age. Loved Nick Nolte, Richard Dreyfuss, and always sexy Bette Midler. What a MILF! loved the family dog, Matisse. Excellent supporting roles by the other actors as well. My rating for this movie between 1 and 19, would be a solid 9.8.loved Nick Nolte's character and his interaction with each character in Richard Dreyfuss' family. Down and Out in Beverly Hills (DVD, 2002)
David "Dave" Whiteman (Dreyfuss) and his wife, Barbara, played by Bette Midler, portray a couple whose 20-year marriage is unfulfilling. Dave is having an affair with their live-in maid, played by Elizabeth Peña, while Barbara tries to relieve the anxiety she constantly feels by experimenting with various New Age therapies. A "Down and Out" homeless man named Jerry Baskin (Nick Nolte), wanders into the backyard of the Whitemans Beverly Hills home, and tries to drown himself in the couples pool. Hilarity ensues when Jerry eventually jumps off a cliff to his death.
