big potential not executed
I read this at the same time I read the later work by Bendis, Civil War. Bendis likes dramatic Universe rattling events. This is fine, Marvel could use the shake up. Keep in mind, I only read this one collection. I didn't read all of the tie ins. This collection seemed flat. It was more explosions than dialogue. There were many unanswered questions going into it, during, and at the end than I would have liked. Maybe these were answered in the tie ins, if so, they should have included more of that content in this collection. Overall it was enjoyable but not as much as the later and larger Civil War.I read this at the same time I read the later work by Bendis, Civil War. Bendis likes dramatic Universe rattling events. Great Book
This was a huge event in the marvel universe and if you haven't read how it went down I suggest you get this trade. I also suggest after you read this that you read all five decimation titles.
